It was a tragedy of great proportion when a top
Lagos State All Progressive Congress member and chairmanship aspirant
for Epe local government area, Muheez Olayinka Bello, died alongside six
other people in a boat accident on his birthday.
Bello
and the other unfortunate passengers of the boat which included the son
of the Olu of Epe, Aremo Azeez Adewale and his wife, were travelling to
his hometown to cast their votes at the last presidential election of
March 28, when the boat overturned on their way back to celebrate his
birthday.
The former Chevron staff who was much liked by his people, left his plum job with the oil company to go into full time politics.
The trained lawyer turned politician left behind three young kids and his wife who miraculously, survived the boat mishap.
