The Lagos based amateur outfit has unveiled their new jersey on Sunday at their camp site in Lagos
FC Fareed, a non-league football club have their jersey unveiled on
Sunday evening in Lagos ahead of their foreign playing tour.
The new jersey is a mix of yellow and white stripes round the neck
while their training jersey is white with yellow stripes and numbered
with blue.Speaking at the unveiling ceremony president of the club Smith Abiola sees the unveiling ceremony as another landmark achievement in the history of the team and is a testimony that the outfit have come to stay.
“I am more than happy to have unveiled the club’s new jersey alongside with the players which indicates they are officially members of FC Fareed,” he said.
He also reiterated that the club programme will be channeled towards identifying and grooming raw grassroots talents who will later become the bed rock of the various cadres of the Nigeria national team.
The team will later this year embark on a foreign playing tour where they will be facing teams from
Poland, Albania and Azerbaijan & Germany in friendly matches.
